Mission Statement

The purpose of the Massachusetts Society of Medical Assistants, Inc. is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants' right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

Remember - As of January 2003, unless you have recertified your credentials, you are will NOT be allowed to present yourself as a Certified Medical Assistant
 
All Certified Medical Assistants are required to be
current with their CPR certification.
