Mission Statement

The purpose of the Massachusetts Society of Medical Assistants, Inc. is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants' right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

The MSMA will be going GREEN for all future state and chapter notifications as of January 2009.
We will no longer be sending out direct mailings notifying members about meetings.
All information will be posted on this website.
If you know anyone that does not have access to a computer or to the Internet, please be a friend
and copy the chapter meeting dates to share with others.

If there are any questions or comments about this new policy, please contact your chapter officers

All Certified Medical Assistants are required to be
